Fellowmind chose Shibuya for secure and sustainable operation of Bison SaaS.

Fellowmind offers the Bison business system – a Swedish ERP solution used by companies such as Panduro and Göthes Industribeslag. To deliver Bison as a modern SaaS (Software as a Service), Fellowmind needed an operations partner with high security, stability, and expertise in the IBM Power platform (IBMi).

The choice fell on Shibuya, which has been responsible for running Bison as a SaaS service in its Swedish data centers since spring 2024.

“For Fellowmind, it’s about being able to deliver a complete offering to our customers through a stable and secure SaaS solution without operational concerns. Bison SaaS is produced in our modern facilities in Borås, with a high level of security and continuous availability,” says Kristoffer Pettersson, Service Owner for IBM Power at Shibuya.

For Fellowmind’s Bison customers, the partnership means a reliable, stable, modern, and scalable operating environment—without having to think about hardware, operations, backup, or communication. Bison runs in Shibuya’s Private Cloud, monitored around the clock with 24/7 on-call support from the data center in Borås. Having the data centers located in Sweden also ensures that all data remains within the country’s borders, in compliance with Swedish and European data protection regulations.

Jens Mattsson at Fellowmind explains why Shibuya was chosen as the operations partner:

“We needed a competent, reliable, and secure provider that is easy and smooth to work with. That’s exactly what we’ve found in Shibuya.”

“With an ERP system like Bison, environments are often complex and demand high availability. We also needed to ensure a smooth transition to SaaS for our customers. Shibuya has proven to have highly skilled project managers for transition projects, which has made things much easier. The personal contacts work very well, and we get quick access to service technicians and network experts whenever needed.”

The collaboration between Fellowmind and Shibuya continues to grow—with more Bison customers moving to the cloud in 2025. This means even more businesses can fully focus on their core operations while Shibuya securely handles the infrastructure.
