Major impact as CEO Christina Backlund speaks at Radar Summit 2024
When analytics firm Radar gathered 700 of Sweden’s most influential IT decision-makers, Shibuya was there, represented by CEO Christina Backlund, who became the event’s most talked-about speaker.
What does the relationship between buyers and suppliers look like today, and how does it need to evolve in the future? That was the starting point for the on-stage conversation between Christina Backlund and Radar’s Niclas Hansson as this year’s Radar Summit kicked off. Christina Backlund reflects on the day:
“It’s been a fantastic event, with a clear theme throughout the agenda and consistently important topics. Many people came by our stand afterwards, eager to continue the discussion.”
What was the conversation about?
“It was primarily about business. That’s what always unites us, regardless of role, company, or position. But the question is whether companies truly understand their business, how it should evolve, and with which partners. It’s a complex world with many potential collaborators, new legislation and cyber threats. I believe local partnerships will be crucial, for both individual companies and for Sweden as a whole.”
How did it feel afterwards?
“Really great. A lot of people came to our stand afterwards wanting to keep the conversation going. It was clear we touched on something important, something many companies are currently thinking about. This is where Shibuya can make a real difference, offering robust ecosystems and close partnerships that truly create value.”
